Living Social Class Schedule

For those Living Social members who purchased the deal, here is the schedule for the adult classes:

You must call and preregister for class.

Circus Arts Schedule

Mondays 5-7PM: July 26, August 2, and 9th

Tuesdays 5:45-7:45PM: Aug. 3 and 10

Wednesdays 5:45-7:45: Aug. 11

Saturdays 11am -1PM: July 31, Aug. 7 and 14

The circus classes will consist of trapeze, aerial fabric (silks), aerial hoop, straps, juggling, low wire, with a trampoline or jump rope warm-up. Classes will be taught by Shannon Maguire and Sam Finkelstein. Recommended attire includes leotard or fitted shirt, yoga pants/capris, wind pants or sweat pants. Please avoid baggy clothes, or clothing with belts, buckles, snaps, zippers, etc that could catch on the equipment. There are drinking fountains on the premises, but bringing your own water bottle is recommended!

Fall options will be to take two 1-hour Adult Circus Classes. Fall schedule should be available mid-August, and the fall classes should start the third week in September.

 

Adult Trampoline/ Tumbling Schedule

Mondays 6:30 - 8:30PM: July 26

Tuesdays

Thursdays

Saturdays 4-6PM: July 31

The two hour Trampoline and Tumbling classes in the summer will consist of 1 hour of Trampoline, and 1 hour of Tumbling. Classes will be taught by Dave and Sasha. Recommended attire includes leotard or fitted shirt, yoga pants/capris or shorts. Please avoid baggy clothes, or clothing with belts, buckles, snaps, zippers, etc that could catch on the equipment. Please bring a clean pair of socks for trampoline work!

Fall options will be to take two 1-hour Adult Trampoline and/or Tumbling Classes. Fall schedule should be available mid-August, and the fall classes should start the third week in September.

 
Beginning Adult Trampoline
A non-somersaulting class for men and women. No prior gymnastics experience necessary. Beginning classes focus on learning the fundamentals of trampoline, including correct jumping, body control, coordination and flexibility. Skills learned include position jumps, bouncing on the feet, front, or back, and using combinations to create routines. 
 
Intermediate Adult Trampoline
For graduates of the beginning class, or those with prior gymnastics experience. Intermediate students emphasize somersaulting skills, including single and double front and back flips and twisting flips. Competitive routines are introduced as a training tool, with the opportunity for competition during late spring. 
 
Adult Co-Ed Tumbling
Tumbling and conditioning skills for men and women, with exercises designed for an aerobic workout. This class is open to students of all abilities, from beginning gymnasts to former elite competitors. Classes focus on developing strong handsprings and connecting skills into longer tumbling passes.  
 
Men's / Women's Apparatus

Learn basic skills and routines on men's or women's apparatus. Whether new to gymnastics or a seasoned veteran, this class will offer a challenging opportunity to improve your skiills while you enjoy the toning and conditioning benefits of gymnastics. 

Women's apparatuses include: vault, uneven bars, beam

Men's apparatuses include: vault, pommel horse, still rings, parallel bars, high bar

 
Circus Arts
Circus sports are a great way to improve fitness, coordination, strength and flexibility. Learn the basics of the many apparatuses included in circus performance, such as tissue, trapeze, acrobatics, tumbling, balancing, and more.
