Girls Competitive Gymnastics Team

Pre-Elite, Petite Elite & Training Team are our pre-competitive teams here at Gleason's. Girls are selected for Pre-Elites and Petite Elites from our Pre-school and recreational classes based on specific ability tests. From Petite Elites, these girls then progress to the Training Team. In these prep-teams the girls will be working on the USAG Levels 1-4 in order to prepare them for Level 5 which is the first level in which they will enter competition.

Girls Compulsory Team (Levels 4, 5 & 6)

The second segment of our Girls Program consists of two levels of compulsory routines; Levels 5, 6. Each of the levels builds upon the skills acquired in the previous level. The girls will begin USA Gymnastics Sanctioned competition at Level 5, where they will be competing against other girls in their same age group and ability levels.

Girls Optional Team (Levels 7, 8, 9 &10)

Beginning with Level 7, the girls enter the optional levels of our program. These levels consist of routines which are comprised of certain requirements, but are created by the gymnast and her coach to show off the uniqueness of each gymnasts own style. Level 9 and 10 gymnasts may also qualify for National Level competition.
